Hi, I'm Dan Go and I'm a personal trainer in Thornhill. Local residents consider me as the area's most celebrated personal trainer. They have their own reasons for saying that, but if one thing's for sure, I wouldn't have been famous, much less become a personal trainer, 10 years ago.
If you're wondering why, that's because I also had my own weight problems to deal with like all the clients I'm helping today. However, my case was worse than 90% of the cases I'm currently faced with. My problem wasn't just my weight, but also my attitude towards it.
Much as I cared about how I looked, I still smoked, drank and ate too much. But after years of being the butt of jokes of my friends and family, I decided to shed off all the fat and go to the gym.
Going to the gym didn't help, much to my frustration. In fact, I even gained more weight! So I tried other methods. I tried using fat loss pills. It didn't work. I also bought aerobics DVDs. No success there, either. Then there's the ab gadget that left me with no abs, although it made for a good decoration in our living room.
So my frustration continued, which is why I decided to take matters into my own hands. I did my own research about the best weight loss techniques by drowning myself in various books and materials that dealt with losing weight. There were a lot of good stuff there. Some didn't work. While some were plain horrible. All in all, I spent a decade with my research, but I persisted and eventually hit paydirt and found the most effective fat loss techniques.
When I tried those techniques myself, I lost 37 pounds of fat rapidly!
From that point on, my friends stopped laughing at me. In fact, they turned to me for weight loss advice. And what's more, I gained more attention from the opposite sex.
But I wasn't about to keep my discoveries to myself. In fact, I was inspired to start a career in weight loss coaching. So I combined those 10 years of research with various certifications in weight loss and personal training and set up my own women's boot camp.
The boot camp is a 6-week weight loss program that includes the following:
- A variety of workouts which I call the ‘Fat Loss Toolbox'. I derive my weekly workouts from there to ensure that my clients have something different to work on every week to keep them from getting bored and prevent plateau.
- Workouts that are designed to speed up my clients' metabolism so they can lose weight faster.
- My clients also get unlimited email support from me. So they get all the support that they need from me.
